G&T: Ice & Tonic with a Wheel of Red Grapefruit and a Sprig of Basil.

The red grapefruit balances the notes of citrus from the orange and lemon peel botanicals in the gin. The basil acts as an “agent” to the saliva glands, in that the smell of the basil on top of the surface of the G&T triggers the saliva glands, creating a “mouth watering” sensation, making the G&T that more desirable.

Botanicals:

8 botanicals including Juniper Berries from Macedonia, Sri Lankan Ground Nutmeg, Coriander Seeds from Bulgaria, Sweet Orange and Sweet Lemon Peel from Spain and Cassia Bark from Indonesia.

Tasting notes:  

Nose: Juniper rich, with fragrant pine, hint of lemon, lavender with light violet notes.

Palate: Juniper and coriander seed forward, with distinctive sage notes. Mid palate of a delicate sweetness with citrus notes. Towards the back of the mouth, a lingering liquorice, cracked black pepper and some spicy notes.

Finish: Long, smooth rounded finish with a citrus and spicy zing.
